Letter from Pastor John

Dear St. John's
Parishioner,
Historic Vote
On Sunday, May 17 the congregation
of St. John's voted to proceed with a plan for the
future. That future was outlined in Option Three -
"Construct a New Worship Building." This new
facility will be constructed on our property on what is
known as the courtyard in the front of the parish hall
towards Clinton Street. The meeting was well
attended and the vote total was divided among all four
options. On the first ballot, a two-thirds
majority (143 votes) was given in support of the plan to
build a new worship space on our property. I am
thankful to God for at least three reasons.
First, that the meeting enjoyed such wide support from
our membership. Thank you for your interest in the
future ministry of St. John's. Secondly, I am
thankful for the opportunity we now share to move ahead
into the future with a plan to accomplish a new
beginning to the glory of God. Finally, the good
will I felt at the meeting makes me proud to be your
pastor. I am hopeful and look forward for what God
will accomplish among us.
Peace, Love and Joy - Pastor John Klatt
