Greeter Usher Schedules

Pastor Roger's Letter, January 2019

Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Thank you all for you patience and support as we work to build up our youth ministry at St. John’s. Included with this letter is a schedule of events that we have put together for the Spring Semester. Of course this is not all we are
doing or remotely close to all that we will do as God continues to guide us in our discipleship and faith formation. Please check our website from time to time for a fuller picture of what our church is up to.

We are trying something new this semester at the request of our youth who went to Houston last summer. Once a month we will get together for scripture study, conversation, sharing a meal, and faith formation. I hope that you will
make every effort to set this time (Last Sunday of Each Month 12:00-1:30) aside in your busy schedules so that we can do the important work of building up the future of our church family. Moving forward we can try other times and
other places for this monthly meeting but the youth feel that it is important to meet regularly and so this is our first attempt to honor that request and create this time.

While there are some events this spring, like “Candy and Crosses” and “Cemetery Clean Up,” when we invite all ages to join us our other events are set up for youth ages 12-18. For our youngest members, on the last Friday of each month we offer an-all ages family night after the community dinner.
We look forward to serving and learning together this semester!

In Christ,
Pastor Roger
