Morning Prayer
 

MISSION: To provide an opportunity for congregational members and others to begin the day with prayer and meditation in Christian fellowship.

HOW IS THIS DONE?
 Morning prayers feature a psalm, daily Bible readings, a theological reading on the selected scripture and a prayer of the day. “For All the Saints” a prayer book for and by the Church is used as the resource.
 Each day an individual or family of the congregation is selected in alphabetical order from the current church directory to have prayers offered (the individuals are notified of this schedule the previous week by mail).
 The ELCA daily “Prayer Ventures” is also used.
 Congregational and other persons known to be in special need are prayed for including such events as hospitalization, illness, difficult times, bereavement, marital issues, world issues, disasters, travel safety, etc.

MEETINGS: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings at 8:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Room.
