Ushers & Greeters
 

MISSION: To welcome our members and visitors to God’s house of worship with a smiling face and a friendly hand shake and to see that their worship experience is a safe and meaningful one.

HOW IS THIS DONE?
 Greeters are the first to welcome those attending worship, answer questions, give directions or assistance.  Greeters serve at all our worship services and are scheduled on a rotating basis.
 Ushers provide all in attendance with a Bulletin and Hymnal, collect the offering and assist with Communion.  They give Large Print Hymnals and Hearing Assistance Devices to those who need them and Activity Bags and Bulletins to the children. They  direct late comers to available seating, are available during the worship should anyone need their  assistance and adjust the fans, windows and doors to keep the worship area comfortable. Ushers serve at all our worship services and are scheduled on a rotating basis.

MEETINGS: None are scheduled but as things change in our worship, they are informed of what is happening and how it affects their tasks.
