Youth Ministry
MISSION: The over all
mission of both of these groups are the same;
they are just approached in slightly different
ways.
The mission of youth ministry is:
to help improve the discipleship of young
people
to integrate youth representation into all
ministries at St. John’s
to encourage Christian growth in the promises
of Baptism
HOW IS THIS DONE?
In the Youth Group there are five Youth
Officer Positions including President,
Treasurer, Social Chair, Service Chair and
Publicity.
The Youth Advisory Committee plans and assists
in various ways. One of the major goals of the
Advisory committee is to identify the needs and
wants of the youth at St. John’s and also to
identify the needs of the youth in our community
and create means to better serve those needs.
MEETINGS: The Youth Officers meet every
first Sunday of the month at 12:30 p.m. The
Youth Advisory Committee meets every first
Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
