2 Timothy 1:6-7
For this reason I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands, for God did not give us a spirit of coward ice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.

Doesn’t it seem that no matter how hard we try, life still gets messy. Despite best intentions, careful planning and even hard work, things don’t always turn out the way we hope. Sometimes it’s easy to get past the minor letdowns. But other times, failures are huge and can loom over us and darken our days. And life’s messes just won’t seem to leave us alone.

But we are blessed with a loving Heavenly Father, a faithful Savior, and an ever-helpful Holy Spirit to get us thru even the darkest of times. Our amazing God loves us so much that He sent us His only Son to pay the ultimate price to redeem us from our sin. Jesus willingly left the glory of Heaven and was born on this earth to die for the sin of us all, including you and me. And God’s grace didn’t stop there…He also sent us the Holy Spirit to be our always-present and forever-helpful Guide through this life we live, which can include big, tough, towering messes.

God’s mercy and help did not exist only in Biblical times. They exist now….today and every day. God listens to us. More than that, He loves to hear from us. And He loves when we include Him in every aspect of our lives. Because of His grace, we need not fear anything. We can call out to Him always, whether it’s just to tell Him we love Him, or to thank Him for His constant stream of blessings, to talk with Him about what’s in our hearts, or to ask Him to help with life’s messes. We are forever blessed to be the safe, strong and very loved children of the King

Prayer

Loving and caring God, please help me remember
that there is nothing that can ever separate me from
your grace and help. You are ALWAYS there for me,
just a prayer or a word or a thought away. I am safe in
your mercy, love and care.
In Jesus majestic name.

Amen.
