Psalm 28:7
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.

Being told by the hospital Doctors that they could do nothing for me. In fact, they didn’t think I could survive the tests needed to determine the total damage to my body. The choice was mine; did I want to try? I choose to trust God, put it all in His hands and take each day as it comes.I was sent home with Hospice care; they were such a comfort

Here I am one year and a half later. Of course, my lifestyle has changed. So many things I no longer am able to do. Trusting in God completely is now my lifestyle. We all trust in many things. Like if we flip the switch on the wall, we trust our lights will go on. Mostly that’s true. But if there was a storm and the electricity is down, you can flip that switch countless times and nothing will happen, until the electricity is fixed. That’s not God’s way. He is always there. By giving our lives to God He becomes our life, our strength, and purpose. We begin to live with direction and boldness because of our trust is Him. I trust Him more each day.

Prayer

Our Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the
constant love you have for us. It’s such a warm
feeling to know we are surrounded by your love.
Help us God to show your love to others.
Amen.
